Our Story

The Soap Lady™ started business in 1996 in Sandy Utah. We started in our kitchen creating designer glycerin soaps to sell at small boutiques and other venues. Our vision was to provide a business to enable our family to work together. Now several years later, our family, children and grandchildren are actively involved in The Soap Lady.

A Family Business

We have watched with pride as our whole family brainstorms new ideas and works side by side selling our products. We now have grandchildren helping us in Harmons grocery stores, stocking and building displays. We also do Farmer’s Markets and shows.

There’s nothing more exciting than seeing family proudly working together! We now have many handcrafted products, soap, bath bombs, salt glow, bath salts, bubble bars and lotions. With many more to come!

Still Homemade

In July of 2017 we moved our business out of our home and into a beautiful, spacious Soap Factory in Sandy. This has allowed us to have the space to work and create. It was a happy day when we saw our Soap Lady sign being lifted on our building!

All our products are handcrafted, hand cut, and hand wrapped. Quite an accomplishment these days! We enjoy working with vegetable glycerin soaps. They are hydrating and mild to the skin and long lasting if they are kept on one of our locally crafted Soap Saver Trays. Vegetable Glycerin soaps will hold fragrances that are strong and true, and the colors are vibrant; a true artistic but functional product. Our products and ingredients are domestically sourced and handcrafted in the USA.

Crafting Bath Bombs

Our bath bombs are one of our most popular and sought-after items. These are ever-changing in color and fragrance. Producing Bath Bombs is a true craft, which takes time and true ability to get a beautiful product.

We hope to see you all at our new store front at 502 West 8360 South, Sandy, Utah or at the Salt Lake Farmers Market this summer! Check out our upcoming events page for information about where to find us.
